Hello!
My name is Ella Masso and I am an incoming senior at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln studying Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Communication Studies.
I currently work as a Social Media Intern at Mortenson. I have the opportunity to create content for Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram while collaborating and brainstorming ideas with multiple Mortenson offices and operating groups.
While at school, I work as an Ambassador for the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. This job gives me the opportunity to show off our amazing college to prospective high school students. In addition to giving tours of the building, I also host workshops to promote the college and I participate in a mentorship program that occurs once a year. On campus, I am also a part of Kappa Delta sorority, where I have held six leadership positions.
From May 2023 to March 2024, I worked as a Digital Marketing Intern at Rigid Hitch in Burnsville, Minnesota. Through this internship, I was able to run all of their social media accounts, send emails to 16,000+ customers and write blog posts.
On top of my busy schedule and rigorous classes, I have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I have been able to achieve this GPA through my top skills of organization, time management, oral communication and leadership. Outside of school and work, I love spending a day outside next to the lake!
